Ah, I remember the good old days; when a friend who had dial-up suddenly became popular and a connection that could load a page in 10 minutes was ‘lightning-fast’. Not to mention the soothing sounds your modem would produce.
By day I am the director of digtial strategy and development for the Guardian Media Group. At night and weekends, I am gradually getting used to being a forty something , father-of-three from Surrey (yes, I don't quite know how that happened, either). More here
