Not entirely sure though that it&#039;s fair to mention IBM here, as it&#039;s successfully reinvented itself on a couple of occasions - mainframes  -&gt; PCs to today&#039;s software n services. Although they have an image of exactly the kind of actions that you describe, they&#039;ve also somehow managed to take actions which  open up new markets while retaining old ones.</description>
